Restart Required
It’s that time again. It comes around once every year or so, and today it has arrived. This is yet another, probably futile, attempt to reboot my blog.
Why bother? Well, mostly because I feel like it. But, the why is less interesting than the how. How is this time going to be any different?
Focus. On what? Games. Shocking! I already work on them all week, talk about them every day, and...

now that I’ve finished mass effect, I’m having a hard time convincing myself to do something other than playing it straight through again.
finally, irrefutable evidence that I am the best TF2 player at Maxis. sadly, that doesn’t mean much. http://bit.ly/bn8FgP
weekend damage report: 21 hours of mass effect, 10 hours of star trek online. there is no way to make that seem less lame in 140 characters.
star trek online completely distracted me from mass effect tonight. holy crap i’m a nerd.

full screen installers are so old school. I don’t want to look at screenshots. I want to complain about your slow install on the internet.

caught some sort of nerd plague at comic-con. ugh.
comic-con done! well, for me anyway. really tired, but totally worth it. hopefully, i can do this again sometime.
feet tired from walking the floor. many photos and lewtz have been acquired.
apparently today’s theme at comic-con is “things you can’t un-see”. also, stormtroopers.
met the rifftrax guys and the castle crashers guys. insert fanboy squee.
comic-con day 2! waiting for the stargate universe panel.
omg starbuck on 24 day 8! also it’s sad that sarah michelle gellar got the loudest cheer at that panel.
and now the event we’ve been waiting six hours for… dollhouse!
highlight of the big bang panel: crowd shouting “moist” at simon helberg.
epitaph one was a much better season finale. now, rifftrax live!
comic-con go! first up asssasin’s creed 2.
missed the psych panel, but uncharted 2 was awesome.
that 7am flight seemed like a fine idea until just this moment.
camera work is making my brain hurt.
only person in the office right now. eerie.
4th full of food, fireworks, and D&D. it’s what the founding fathers would have wanted.

first day of new d&d game was a success! 4e is looking better than expected!
twilight movie? terrible. twilight rifftrax? amazing.
the hours just melted away today… thanks sims 3!
ubisoft’s e3 presentation is painful to watch. why did they get joel mchale and then force him to read poorly written press releases?

taking the bay bridge to work reminds me of the good ol days of 40 minute commutes. wait, those weren’t good at all.
omfg star trek. so good. must see again.
started watching Castle and now I’m hooked. that show fits my sense of humor disturbingly well.
watching the dollhouse season finale live like a good little fan.
protip: if you want your function to work properly, try actually calling it.
